What the BLS Course Includes

American Red Cross Basic Life Support training prepares healthcare and public-safety professionals to recognize and respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and infants.

Course instruction includes high-quality CPR, AED use, relief of choking, and effective team response. Blended-learning students must complete the online portion before attending the instructor-led skills session.

Participants who successfully complete the course receive a two-year American Red Cross BLS digital certificate.
